Hawa Mahal is made of red and pink sandstone, reflecting the signature color of Jaipur's architecture. The palace stands at the edge of the City Palace complex and overlooks the bustling streets of the old city. The most distinctive feature of the Hawa Mahal is its façade, which resembles the honeycomb of a beehive. It is a five-story structure that rises to a height of around 50 feet.
